The tour combines History, real time ghost hunting,  theatricality and humor in a 75 to 90 minute, underground tour of the Lebanon Silver Mine located at the Georgetown Loop Historic Mining & Railroad Park in Clear Creek County. It makes for a very  spirited evening if we do say so ourselves.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

is this part of the train ride?

The  evening Lantern Tour does not include the train. Our guests are taken to and from the Mine Site by a Shuttle Van boarded at the Devils Gate Depot in Georgetown.

Can I 420 on or before the tour?

No. The Lebanon Mine is located in a State Park / Museum site and the use of Cannabis is not permitted. In addition the tour is underground, on gravel, in a low light environment which makes the effects of 420ing a safety issue. What you do after the tour is entirely up to you.

How is this tour different from the day tours?

This is a Haunted History tour covering several of the better known ghost stories  and more recent ghostly encounters of this mine over its 140 year history.

What clothing do you recommend for the tour?

We recommend a jacket or hoodie as the temperature underground is a constant 44f degrees. Also be prepared for unpredictable mountain weather.

What kind of footwear should I bring?

No open toe or high heel footwear.  You should wear comfortable closed toed, walking shoes or hiking boots which may get wet.

Do you cancel if it's raining?

The tours are conducted rain or shine. The tour is  either in buildings or underground for most of your visit.
